What to Prep
Before session day rolls around, take a few minutes to think through what you want your photos to reflect.

This shoot is all about you, your personality, your accomplishments, your story, and the more we can plan ahead, the more meaningful and customized your session will feel.
I’ll guide you through all of this in the days leading up to your shoot, but having a few ideas in mind now helps us both show up ready to make something beautiful and totally you.
- Any must-have shots? If there’s a specific pose, vibe, or photo you’ve seen and loved, send it my way!
- Special locations? If we’re shooting on campus, let me know if there are any buildings, signs, or spots that are meaningful to you.
- Props or personal touches? Whether it's your cap and gown, college tee, sports jersey, musical instrument, or even your dog — bring anything that helps tell your story.

What to Wear
- Wear what makes you feel good. If you’re tugging at the sleeves or adjusting the neckline, it’s not the right outfit.
- Solid colors > busy patterns. Neutrals, pastels, or bold solid tones all photograph beautifully — just avoid super tiny prints or logos.
- Show off your personality. Think: your go-to jeans and a cute top, a dress you love, your college tee, or even a sports uniform.
- Bring options! I always recommend at least two outfits — one more dressed-up and one casual.
- Consider the season. Texas weather can be chaotic. Dress for it! And don’t forget a jacket if it’s chilly.
